At Trendspotting, we’re starting to see more and more left-field food concepts such as farm shops, up market pop-up restaurants, fusion food festivals and exclusive master classes all of which are new phenomenon not to be missed.

And whilst traditional fine dining is not dead yet, it’s simply no longer cool. Restaurants and new hospitality concepts all over the

world are raising local food to new levels without the fufulala. Many chefs are moving to more casual, fun restaurant models instead of seeking Michelin stars. Singapore and Sydney are currently the two cities that are offering the most avantgarde concepts. Here are some of our favourite spots.
