15-07-2008 Peg Mirror Mirror on the Wall

Interactive art reaches a whole new level with Daniel Rozin’s ultra cool peg mirror. Made of various materials like a cluster of pegs, the pieces show the reflection of anyone who stands in front of it. This new take on reflective art creates an illustrious effect with 650 circular wooden pieces cut on an angle, casting shadows by twisting and turning. Forming a circle around a small camera in the middle, the mirrored image is offset by Rozin’s software and reflected in the moving wooden parts, giving a whole new meaning to digital objects.
